Crozon peninsula
The Crozon peninsula forms a surprising star-shaped stretch of land set between the Brest roadstead and the Bay of Douarnenez. In the heart of the Armorique Regional Natural Park, this far-flung corner offers a true taste of wild, unspoilt Brittany. Steep cliffs, rocky headlands, secret beaches, small harbours, pine forests: around every bend, the scenery changes.
From Camping l’Armorique, you can easily reach the most beautiful sites in the area. On foot via the GR34 coastal trail, by bike for the more adventurous, or by car, everything is within easy reach to fully enjoy the treasures of the Crozon peninsula. Whether you love swimming, hiking, heritage, exploring… or simply good food, the peninsula offers an endless playground.
Four worlds to explore from the campsite
Between rugged coastlines and historic heritage sites, the Crozon peninsula is full of must-see places. From Cap de la Chèvre to Pointe de Pen Hir, including the Vauban Tower, lovers of panoramic walks will be delighted.
History enthusiasts can head as far as Landévennec Abbey or Fort des Capucins, while curious visitors can explore the Maison des Minéraux or the Living Museum of Traditional Trades.
Each site has its own atmosphere, blending nature, culture and authenticity. Sea views, the Tas de Pois rock formations, and seaside villages such as Camaret-sur-Mer or Crozon-Morgat create a rich itinerary, easily accessible by car or bike.
It’s impossible to stay on the Crozon peninsula without enjoying the pleasure of a swim or a walk along the sand. Trez Bellec beach and Trez Bihan beach, right next to the campsite, are popular with families thanks to their calm waters and fine sand. But many other gems line the coast: La Palue beach, Lostmarc’h, Pentrez, Goulien…
Each one has its own personality: perfect for surfing, relaxing, fishing or walking, with either well-kept or wild surroundings… Some are easy to reach, others require a walk through the heathland, but all are within reach so you can enjoy a variety of seaside experiences throughout your stay in Brittany.
Hiking, cycling, water sports, fishing, paragliding or traditional markets: there’s no shortage of activities to fill your holiday days. The GR34 coastal trail runs along the coastline, crosses the peninsula and offers great day hikes.
At sea, you can try diving, go out in a kayak, learn cani-paddle, or book a boat trip.
On land, the markets of Crozon, Camaret or Telgruc are full of local produce. For families, horse riding, land sailing, treetop adventure parks, climbing activities, giant mazes or simple swimming sessions make for action-packed days.
